About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Concept Artist to design a realistic-style antagonist character named Medusa for the upcoming project. This character will serve as the main boss, and the design should reflect a powerful, menacing figure with unique, recognisable features. Your task will include translating a blood-soaked, battle-damaged aesthetic to Medusa’s appearance, based on a provided outfit reference. The role demands a strong focus on realism with dynamic background elements that enhance the character’s visual impact.
Please note: The outfit must match the provided jersey reference, with intentional alterations to reflect a well-worn, blood-soaked look. Medusa’s design will incorporate glowing red eyes, blood shards, mantis-like appendages, and an ominous setting that builds an engaging villainous presence. This project has potential for further paid work depending on the outcome.
Requirements
- Proven experience in healthcare/wellness brand identity design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, professional logo work
- Understanding of medical/healthcare design principles
- Experience with bilingual branding projects
- Ability to create scalable vector graphics
- Knowledge of print and digital design requirements
