Job Description

As aSocialMediaEngagementSpecialist,you’ll spearhead user acquisition efforts for an exciting outdoor adventure startup.You’ll engage with potential users on platforms like Facebook Marketplace and outdoor-focused groups, introducing them to a game-changing rental concept.Yourrole is crucial in building the platform’s user base, driving organic growth, and establishing the company as a leader in the sharing economy for outdoor gear.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to potential users selling outdoor equipment on Facebook Marketplace
  • Engage in meaningful conversations within relevant Facebook groups focused on outdoor activities
  • Craft compelling messages to introduce the rental platform concept
  • Highlight the benefits of renting vs. selling gear to potential users
  • Conduct follow-ups viaemailwith interested parties
  • Convert leads into active platform members
  • Track outreach efforts and report onengagementmetrics

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with Facebook and othersocialmediaplatforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for onlineengagement
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Passion for outdoor activities and familiarity with adventure gear (preferred)
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or community management (beneficial)
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Comfortable with a flexible schedule across Australiantimezones
