Job Description
As a Personal Assistant in the education and research sector, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations for a prominent professor. You’ll be responsible for email management, calendar organization, and processing reimbursements, with potential to expand into budget management and bookkeeping. Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of emails, ensuring timely responses to critical communications
- Organize and maintain an efficient calendar, coordinating meetings and appointments
- Process and submit reimbursement claims for business-related travel expenses
- Create and update comprehensive to-do lists, tracking task completion and deadlines
- Handle occasional personal tasks, including making calls within the US
- Assist with organizing and managing both work-related and personal budgets (future responsibility)
- Provide general administrative support to enhance overall productivity and efficiency
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in email management software and Google Workspace applications
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles (preferred)
