Location: California Job Type: 9-5pm PST Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our company, as you will be responsible for optimizing our online presence to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices and be skilled in On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Local SEO, Analytics & Reporting, and the use of SEO Tools. Key Responsibilities: 1. On-Page SEO
Keyword Research & Optimization: Identify and optimize for relevant, high-impact keywords across all content.
Content Optimization: Ensure all website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and images, is optimized for search engines.
User Experience (UX) Enhancement: Work on improving website layout and structure to enhance user experience and search engine performance.
Internal Linking Strategy: Develop and maintain an effective internal linking strategy to distribute link equity throughout the site.
2. Technical SEO
Site Speed Optimization: Ensure the website loads quickly on all devices by optimizing images, code, and server response times.
Mobile Optimization: Maintain a mobile-friendly website that meets all SEO best practices.
Structured Data Implementation: Implement and manage structured data to improve the site’s search engine visibility.
Crawlability & Indexability: Ensure the site is easily crawlable and indexable by search engines, managing the robots.txt file, sitemap, and site architecture.
Regular SEO Audits: Conduct thorough technical SEO audits and implement solutions to address any issues.
3. Local SEO
Google My Business Management: Optimize and manage the company’s Google My Business profile for better local search visibility.
Local Citations & NAP Consistency: Ensure the company’s name, address, and phone number (NAP) are consistent across all local citations.
Local Keyword Optimization: Target and optimize for local keywords to attract geographically relevant traffic.
Reviews & Reputation Management: Manage and respond to online reviews to improve the company’s local search presence.
4. Analytics & Reporting
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
SEO Reporting: Generate detailed and actionable reports that provide insights into SEO performance and suggest areas for improvement.
A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to continuously optimize the website’s performance.
ROI Analysis: Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of SEO activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
5. SEO Tools Proficiency
Tools Management: Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, RAnk Math, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog for audits, tracking, and analysis.
Automation & Efficiency: Leverage automation tools or scripts to streamline SEO tasks such as reporting and analysis.
Keyword Research Tools: Use advanced keyword research tools to identify new opportunities and monitor ongoing keyword performance.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search performance.
Technical Skills: Strong technical SEO skills, including site speed optimization, mobile optimization, and structured data implementation.
Analytical Mindset: Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to generate actionable insights from SEO metrics.
Tools Proficiency: Expertise in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, RankMath, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
