We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer who will play a key role in shaping the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our product. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders, to create intuitive, user-centered designs that delight customers and align with company objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Own the entire design process from concept to launch, including research, wireframing, prototyping, user flows, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI design
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to translate business goals into seamless user experiences and interface designs that are scalable and technically feasible
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather customer feedback to inform design choices and continuously improve product experiences
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistency across all product touchpoints and scales as the company grows
• Use data and analytics to iterate and optimize designs, making informed conclusions that enhance user experience and engagement
• Participate in design reviews and provide positive, constructive feedback fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented design culture within the company
• Keep up with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices, and implement them when appropriate to keep the product at the cutting edge of design and UX

Qualifications

• 5-7 Years of experience with a proven track record of product design experience, preferably in SaaS or tech startups
  
• A strong portfolio showcasing your experience in UX and UI design across web and mobile platforms
• Expertise in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
• Deep understanding of user-centered design concepts, UX patterns, and accessibility standards
• Ability to think critically about user journeys and solve complex UX challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Experience working in agile environments, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue or a working knowledge of coding practices is a plus

The typical pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD [$110,000.00] to [$155,000.00] per year. PlexTrac utilizes different base pay ranges for different work localities, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently based on their home market. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the specific applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s work location. In addition to a candidate’s work location, an individual’s base pay will also depend on a number of factors, such as complexity and responsibility of the posted role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At PlexTrac, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and equity options. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
