Qualifications:

- Social Media Content Creation: Develop engaging, on-brand content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. This includes creating graphics, writing captions, and scheduling posts.

- Influencer Relations: Assist in identifying, contacting, and managing relationships with social media influencers to expand our brand's reach and engagement.

- Blog Writing: Help write and edit blog posts that resonate with our target audience—primarily moms interested in Montessori-inspired, screen-free play. Topics might include play ideas, parenting tips, and product features.

- Marketing Support: Assist with other marketing tasks as needed, such as email campaigns, market research, and content planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing director to brainstorm new ideas and strategies to drive brand growth.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be Federal Work-Study eligible at UW-Madison.
    - Understanding of social media and creating content that resonates.
    - Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
    - Experience with social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
    - A creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and content.
    - Interest in Montessori education, parenting, or children’s products is a plus.
    - Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
    - Basic graphic design skills are a bonus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We’re seeking a Federal Work-Study eligible intern from UW-Madison to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, influencer relations, and content creation while working with a rapidly growing startup. The position is fully remote, but if you're in the Madison area, you'll have the option to visit our local office.
