About the Role
An established architecture and interior design firm specialising in retrofitting and restoring old buildings is seeking a mid-level graphic designer to develop a unique brand identity. This short-term project aims to create a distinctive visual presence that sets the company apart in the competitive architectural market. The initial engagement is expected to last up to one week, with potential for additional work based on the project's success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive brand identity for an architecture and interior design firm
- Create a distinctive logo that reflects the company's focus on retrofitting and restoring old buildings
- Design a cohesive visual system including colour palette, typography, and graphic elements
- Produce brand guidelines to ensure consistent application across various mediums
Requirements
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing branding projects
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong understanding of branding principles and their application in the architecture/design industry
- Ability to create unique, memorable designs that align with a company's values and target audience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts clearly
