Are you passionate about story telling and have the ability to simplify and elevate leadership presentations? Do you have a sophisticated approach to using design and visuals to drive the story narrative? The Senior Creative Visual Presentations Graphic Designer is responsible for translating business requirements into compelling presentations, conceptualizing and creating engaging presentations for an executive-level audience. This presentation design lead is responsible for leading and managing the effective presentation of information, working with cross-functional teams to incorporate content and feedback and iterate on designs. This individual also ensures that the creative work of all presentations meets the objectives and achieves the highest standards of quality, creativity and clarity of message through design. The Senior Presentation Graphic Designer is responsible for ensuring adherence to the brand identity and guidelines.
Major Responsibilities:
- PowerPoint Presentation Design: Lead the design and development of high-quality executive presentations using PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite. Develop visual assets, including graphics, infographics, icons and sourcing images, to effectively communicate key messages and data points ensuring clarity, visual appeal, and effective communication of key messages. Conveying data through multimedia elements, such as charts, graphs, maps, tables, text and audio.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with executives, marketing, communications, and other departments to gather content and ensure presentations align with organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designer, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
- Creative Direction: Establish and maintain design standards for presentations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines, values, mission, and goals.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure all presentations meet high standards of accuracy and visual appeal.
- Design Innovation: Stay updated on design trends and technologies to continuously improve design skills and the effectiveness and impact of presentations.
- Resource Management: Manage design assets, templates, and version control to ensure efficient workflow and consistency across presentations. At times, manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide creative solutions that enhance their presentations.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in supporting design, visual arts and digital design.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Experience in concepting for print, web and broadcast/interactive mediums, creating designs that are visually inviting, functional, dynamic, effective, and capable of maintaining the brand image.
- Understanding of marketing principals, advertising, PR and design. Expert understanding in print, digital and multimedia production.
- Ability to work off of a creative brief.
- Ability to collaborate with others, work independently and stay on top of trends within healthcare and globally.
- Knowledge and understanding of front end development of websites.
- Ability to conceive and create experience-oriented design solutions. Understanding of design problems resolution in the context of the brand, use of technology and place in today’s culture and consumer preferences.
- Strong project management and writing skills with outstanding oral communications skills.
- Strong computer skills including: Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, Apple Keynote, PowerPoint, CSS, HTML, JavaScript (intermediate-advanced skill level). Strong knowledge of Flash, After Effects, Video Editing Technologies (Final Cut/Premiere).
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, concept new ideas, strong on execution, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to motivate and encourage others.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
