Job Description
AJ Bell is looking for a passionate and results-driven Senior SEO Executive to join our dynamic product team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll support the D2C team, ensuring SEO best practices across our websites.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Reporting:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and performance.
- Track and report SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with external SEO agencies and provide actionable recommendations.
On-page & Technical SEO:
- Optimise meta tags, headers, URLs, and images.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with development teams on best practices.
- Implement link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and rankings.
Content Optimisation:
- Work with content and PR teams to create SEO-friendly content.
- Optimise product pages and resources based on keyword research and trends.
- Manage content projects from ideation to delivery.
Competitor Analysis:
- Analyse competitor SEO strategies to stay competitive and refine AJ Bell’s approach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product, content, and UX/UI teams to ensure SEO goals are met.
- Coordinate with PR teams for off-page SEO and link-building efforts.
- Advocate for SEO best practices company-wide.
About You:
- 3+ years of SEO experience, ideally in finance or regulated industries.
- Proven success with SEO campaigns and a strong understanding of search algorithms.
- Proficient in SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and more.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and knowledge of JavaScript.
- Strong ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Sitecore, or Drupal.
