What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or equivalent.
- Proven experience in graphic design.
- Strong proficiency in graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva).
- Excellent creative and conceptual thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Lightroom, MS Office, Google Apps, eCommerce and inventory systems, email marketing, social media management, analytics and reporting, Mac/Window OS, and file management.
- Knowledge of design principles and typography.
What will you do?
As a Graphic Designer, you will assist the CEO and General Manager in branding and marketing efforts. Your role involves creating print and digital materials for platforms like social media, email, websites, and internal documents.
- Social Media: Create visually appealing content for social media platforms.
- Digital Marketing: Design email marketing materials. Create digital assets for online advertising.
- Web Design: Design visual elements for Shopify websites. Develop web content while considering user experience.
- Product and Packaging Design: Create designs for new and existing products. Develop product prototypes and select materials.
- Print Design: Design various print materials, such as packaging, catalogues, and in-store merchandising.
- Print Management: Oversee the printing process to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand identity across all design work.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and General Manager on design projects.
- Problem Solving: Find solutions to design challenges while meeting deadlines.
- Execution: Use design software to create final products.
- File Management: Organize and maintain design files.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and design tools.
- Additional Responsibilities: Use AI tools for copywriting and social media scheduling. Perform basic administrative tasks.
