Our platform empowers farmers by giving them access to vital market information and financial solutions, while consumers benefit from fresher, responsibly sourced produce. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and simplifying complex data and workflows.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will take charge of designing user interfaces and interactions that drive our marketplace product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales, while also engaging directly with users to gather feedback and ensure your designs effectively meet their needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and analysis to UX/UI design and implementation.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that communicate your design intentions clearly.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to implement and iterate on designs based on testing and user feedback.
  • Design intuitive data visualizations and interfaces that adhere to industry standards like Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Conduct usability testing and leverage data-driven insights to constantly refine and improve user experiences.
  • Engage in design reviews and brainstorming sessions with team members, contributing your insights and expertise.
  • Maintain and iterate on design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across our platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with UX/UI design, including proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and prototyping tools.
  • Exceptional understanding of design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience creating complex data visualizations and a passion for turning data into user-friendly designs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred.
