An opportunity to work with senior graphic design specialists and leaders in the USA.
Exposure to insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting specialists focused on risk and insurance across a variety of industries.
A fast-paced environment that relies on independent designers completing their own projects while providing backup to fellow designers whenever required.
Work on a dedicated basis with the USA CDOC Design Team to design proposals, reports and brochures for key stakeholders – internal and external clients – making appropriate design choices for effective communication to specific target audiences.
Have prior experience working with senior leaders to assist with graphic design for reports, proposals and specialized collateral.
Demonstrate responsiveness to manage iterative workflow across time zones for seamless delivery on dynamic fast-paced projects.
Serve in a consultative capacity as a subject matter expert on design and branding. Ensure relevant brand recommendations are made to client-facing colleagues. Overall, walk the fine balance between creative ideation and timely delivery, while maintaining corporate brand standards.
Possess attention to detail and result orientation to understand the needs of the clients and conceptualize designs.
Design value-add in terms of providing alternate information driven representations of raw data – Reimagine basic graphics/ pie charts/ bar graphs to more visually appealing information graphics. Combine business context with the right imagery / graphics/ design solutions to create impactful CDOC collaterals.
Be client centric – Flexibility with a can-do attitude to effectively switch between concurrent projects as required, to meet business priorities successfully.
Be an excellent team player – be able to build collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders in the region.
A graduate degree or certification in Fine Arts/Applied Arts, Graphic Design or Journalism.
8 to 12 years hands-on experience in a design team within a corporate environment.
Prior experience working with teams focused on design support in a consulting/SSC/financial services company will be beneficial.
MS Office Expertise – Experience working on corporate presentations, team charts, stewardships, schematics, manuals and proposals using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Teams with an expertise in elevating the look and feel for a USA audience.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, Express, Firefly, Stock and Workfront. Expertise in working with PDF files is essential.
Print design experience across outputs like brochures, proposals, itineraries and other collateral.
Knowledge of appropriate use of AI-generated images and AI tools with an eye on ongoing developments in that space.
Data Visualization – Ability to assimilate business content and convert it into infographics for both print and digital delivery.
Strong foundational knowledge of typography, branding, print production techniques and industry best practices.
Communication Skills – be able to articulate design choices and concepts and communicate effectively with stakeholders across levels both verbally and in writing for a USA audience.
Experience with Workfront, Wrike or another creative management platform.
Ability to quickly learn new applications as they are onboarded.
Understanding of insurance and risk management – the ability to incorporate basic business understanding while designing will make you a strong ally for business leaders.
Prior exposure to design delivery planning/project management within a corporate team environment.
Demonstrated design experience and creativity with a graphic design portfolio focused on corporate communications.
