Graphic Designer (Client)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced graphic designer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with print-on-demand suppliers such as Printful, Printify, and Gelato. They will be adept at designing for various products, customizing designs, and creating compelling mock-ups. This role requires a keen eye for design, a thorough understanding of the print-on-demand process, and proficiency in relevant software.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create original, high-quality designs for a variety of print-on-demand products including apparel, accessories, home decor, and more.
• Customize designs according to product specifications and customer requirements.
• Use supplier-specific tools (Printful, Printify, Gelato) to upload designs, create mock-ups, and ensure design placement accuracy.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts that align with current trends and target market preferences.
• Manage the design process from concept to final product, ensuring all designs meet quality standards and are print-ready.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and print-on-demand techniques.
• Source and utilize free and paid design resources to enhance the design portfolio.
• Work closely with the web development team to ensure seamless integration of designs into the Shopify store.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all design tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, particularly within the print-on-demand industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CorelDRAW, and other relevant tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Printful, Printify, and Gelato platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print-on-demand designs and products.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout.
• Experience with creating mock-ups and using mock-up generation tools.
• Knowledge of the customization process for various print-on-demand products.
• Ability to source and incorporate design elements from free and paid resources.
• Familiarity with design templates and resource websites such as Creative Fabrica, Envato Elements, Shutterstock, Freepik, Vexels, and Adobe Stock.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in e-commerce specifically with Shopify.
• Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
• Familiarity with other print-on-demand suppliers and their unique processes.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles.

System Requirements

• At least 15mbps for the main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
• A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
• Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
