Description & Requirements
The Design Team Lead will improve the learnability and efficiency of our Human Capital Management suite across end-to-end HR, workforce and talent management-related business processes and workflows. Work will improve the productivity and satisfaction of millions of employees and administrators across over 1,000 companies globally.
The Design Team Lead will collaborate closely with product management to feed future roadmap investments. They will also collaborate with engineering to ensure quality and UX standards and gather perspectives from internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Define and execute a UX strategy for Infor’s HCM software suite, ensuring alignment with overall product goals and business objectives
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define multi-year UX roadmap
- Collaborate with common platform team to ensure consistency, modernization and knowledge sharing across Infor’s entire software portfolio
- Identify and prioritize UX improvement opportunities across diverse groups including customers, sales, customer success and the competitive landscape
- Conduct user research, including usability testing, interviews, and surveys to gather insights and inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive and user-centric designs
- Continuously advance our user analytics telemetry to improve user insights and ability to make data-informed decisions
Basic Qualifications
- UX design for enterprise or B2B software
- Experience designing HCM-related software (HR, payroll, scheduling, recruiting, learning management)
- Experience with customer-facing activities including workshops, user research and design reviews
- Experience leading UX teams and projects
- User analytics experience
- User-centered design principles and research practices experience
- Experience using design, whiteboarding and process flow tools (such as Figma, Miro, Lucid, Adobe Xd, Sketch)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Journalism, Computer Science, Communications or related field
- HR-related business processes and workflows experience
- Experience managing a team
- Experience defining UX strategies and roadmaps (ideally for enterprise software)
- Accessibility standards and guidelines knowledge
- Experience designing reporting, analytics and data visualization software
