Role Overview: We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer and Power Platform Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on improving the user interface of our products and leveraging Microsoft Canvas, Power Automate, and Power BI to deliver seamless and impactful user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of UI/UX principles, hands-on experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform tools, and a knack for transforming complex workflows into intuitive designs.
Key Responsibilities: 1. UI/UX Design & Improvement:
- Evaluate and enhance the current user interfaces of our products to ensure a high quality, intuitive user experience.
- Design and implement user interfaces that align with user needs and business goals.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate user needs and business requirements into functional and visually appealing design solutions
2. Microsoft Canvas and Power Automate:
- Develop and customize Microsoft Canvas applications to streamline workflows and improve user interaction.
- Design and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to enhance productivity and reduce manual processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Canvas applications and automated processes
- to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Power BI Integration and Dashboard Design:
- Design intuitive, visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Ensure data visualization aligns with business needs and provides actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and data presentation requirements.
4. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment on design and development goals.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance user interfaces.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on best practices for UI/UX design and Power Platform tools.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in UI/UX design, Microsoft Power Platform, and related technologies.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
● Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design, wireframes, prototypes, and final products.
● Expertise in Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Canvas Apps, and Power BI.
● Strong knowledge of UX/UI design principles, including user research, usability testing, and interaction design.
● Experience in creating workflows, automation processes, and data integrations within the Microsoft Power Platform.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote, distributed team.
● Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
● Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Dataverse, and other related tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
● Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or UX/UI design is a plus.
