The Role

The product you will be shaping is a one-of-a-kind platform that empowers our customers to effortlessly create high-end digital experiences. With this comes the opportunity to work on very unique and open-ended use cases within our creation-focused studio tool as well as redefining the end-to-end creative workflow all the way from planning, designing and reviewing to publishing and accessing performance analytics. The Product Design Lead at Ceros is a senior and hands-on role within the product design team. This is primarily an individual contributor role. We are looking for a designer with in-depth experience in solving highly complex and unique UX problems, while applying exceptional UI design skills and a mature strategic mindset to drive impactful and intuitive experiences at the highest execution level.

You are used to successfully balancing multiple initiatives, equally focusing on perfecting the near-term aspects of the product as well as bringing to life longer-term strategic initiatives. While you are comfortable working as an individual, you equally know how to lead collaborative projects with a hands-on attitude. You are highly respected within and beyond the product team as well as the broader organization. As a member of a remote first team, you embrace transparency and collaboration and lead with proactivity..

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently lead the day-to-day design initiatives for at least one of our Ceros products and product teams, covering both tactical and strategic efforts
  • Drive the experiential quality of our products and capture the Ceros brand, through highest quality visual design and UX design solutions
  • Work hands-on with the designers on your team to deliver comprehensive implementation-ready flows, design assets and documentation
  • Proactively drive the strategic direction of your product through design-centric explorations, presentations and prototypes
  • Ensure design feasibility within our suite of products by approaching solutions holistically and systematically, considering edge cases, existing and emerging design patterns and platform specific requirements
  • Collaborate closely with product management and engineering, evaluating feasibility of designs and ensuring accurate implementation
  • Work closely with other designers and design leaders across the business, leveraging, building and expanding our cross-product design system
  • Plan, lead and synthesize design-centric user research and testing initiatives to inform and validate your design decisions
  • Utilize and scrutinize data and use it carefully as a compass for your design decisions
  • Create and present design concepts and solutions to senior leadership through rich prototypes and presentations, driving buy-in and alignment.
  • Stay up-to date with, and ensure external UX design trends and competitive platforms are considered in your design solutions
  • Being a cultural ambassador and role model, exemplifying the Ceros core values

Practical stuff we anticipate you having

  • 6+ years of product-centric UX / UI design under your belt
  • Proven track record and expertise in complex UX / UI Design problem solving
  • Fluid in best practices in qualitative and quantitative user research and validation methodologies
  • A pro in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools
  • Knowledge of and experience using a variety of design, presentation and project tracking software
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • A top notch design portfolio, demonstrating process, outcomes and impact
  • Bonus items:
    • Experience working in a remote-first environment
    • Background in B2B or SaaS and/or No-Code creation platforms
