About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Senior Tools Engineer with a focus on animation to design, develop, and maintain high-quality tools that enhance our animation pipelines and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect new tools based on developer needs and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other engineers for feature development and improvement.
- Embed within content teams to work closely with Product Owners, understanding and fulfilling workflow needs.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in the content creation process.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers when necessary, setting an example through best practices.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong skills in C++ and C#.
- Experience developing Qt and/or WPF applications.
- Extensive experience with animation, cinematic, and movement tooling.
- Strong 3D math skills and proficiency in working with large datasets and databases.
- Experience with game client/server architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- UI/UX design skills for developing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers effectively.
