Scope:
20 hours per week with potential for increased hours; London Time business hours
Remote work, collaborating directly with the London-based team
Focus on technical design aspects, including tech packs, flat drawings, and manufacturer communications
Seasonal work intensity, with peak activity from September to March for collection development
Responsibilities:
Create detailed tech packs for swimwear designs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Develop comprehensive range plans for seasonal collections
Produce accurate flat drawings with intricate details including stitching, buttons, and patterns
Assist with textile development and print placement for swimwear designs
Communicate technical specifications clearly to manufacturers
Collaborate closely with the founder/creative director on design concepts and execution
Contribute to the development of new collections from September to March
Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a focus on technical design applications
Strong understanding of tech pack creation and its importance in the manufacturing process
Experience in creating detailed flat drawings for garments, preferably in swimwear or related fields
Knowledge of textile development and print placement techniques
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
Fashion design background or relevant experience in the luxury apparel industry
