We are seeking a talented Web Content Writer to join our client’s team on a freelance basis, focusing on revamping website content for a key client—a large Hispanic nonprofit organization in the economic development sector. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a strong grasp of community and nonprofit sectors, capable of simplifying complex information and making it accessible to various stakeholders.

Commitment and Duration

  • 10 hours per week
  • 6-month engagement with potential for extension based on project needs and performance

Objectives of This Role

  • Develop website content that aligns with the strategic framework and communication strategy provided by our client.
  • Craft engaging, culturally resonant copy that speaks directly to the target audience.
  • Simplify complex service descriptions and organizational information into clear, accessible language.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit content for various website sections, including landing pages, service descriptions, impact stories, and more.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure all content aligns with strategic objectives and communication guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine content based on feedback and project goals.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in nonprofit or community-oriented sectors.
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills with the ability to convey complex topics in simple terms.
  • Familiarity with or personal connection to the Hispanic community is a plus, ensuring cultural relevance in content.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
