We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Product Designer to lead and oversee the design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user experiences for our mobile applications.
The Job:
Design Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance in the design process, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
Core Design Work: Personally execute core design tasks, including wireframing, prototyping, and creating visual designs for mobile interfaces.
Delegation and Mentorship: Delegate design tasks to junior designers as appropriate, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into the product development process.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of design work to ensure adherence to design principles, brand guidelines, and usability standards.
Feedback and Iteration: Provide constructive feedback on design work and iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results.
Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, including design systems, style guides, and specifications, to support consistent design implementation across platforms.
User Research: Participate in user research activities, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.
Stay Updated: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge with the design team to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Communication: Communicate design decisions, rationale, and progress effectively to stakeholders, and facilitate design reviews and presentations as needed.
Requirements
The Person:
3 - 5 years experience as a UI/UX designer.
Basic understanding of Figma components and prototyping is a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeal.
Good understanding of colour science and combinations.
Artistic and innovative flair.
Excellent attention to detail.
Meticulous and diligent.
Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends.
