As a Research Scientist, this role is responsible for carrying out research and developing mathematical algorithms which deliver value to our R&D customers. As a Research Scientist, you will work on customer or industry-specific problem domains, and data sets, leveraging Noble Artificial Intelligence Platform features and products and collaborating with other Research Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers on developing new mathematical modeling techniques to solve customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out world-class research oriented to improving NobleAI’s core AI technology
• Working on customer or industry specific problem domains and data sets, leveraging NobleAI Platform features and products and/or collaborating with research scientists on new modeling techniques to solve the customer needs.
• Working with lead engineers and data scientists to integrate research advances into NobleAI products
• Collaborating with engagement success teams to accurately communicate technical aspects of solutions provided to customers through the NobleAI platform
• Perform strategic research oriented towards improving NobleAI's core technology

What we're looking for

• PhD. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or other quantitative discipline
• Degree or coursework in Machine Learning
• Strong background in machine learning: classical and deep learning techniques (examples may include CNNs, transformers, or embedding techniques, etc.), focus on supervised learning
• Strong experience in Python and associated ML frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, sklearn, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical details at a high level
• Experience in either Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, or unsupervised learning approaches are all plusses!
• Experience with either cloud or distributed training frameworks (AWS, GCP etc.) is a plus!
