Legal Research Intern

Overview: Visalaw.ai is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Research intern to join our team for the fall or spring semesters. This internship (or externship) offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain practical experience in immigration law and legal technology. As an intern, you will support our legal team in various projects, conduct legal research, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that streamline immigration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in testing legal research AI tools and providing feedback to the technical team.
• Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and policies to support ongoing projects.
• Review and summarize case files, legal notes, and relevant materials.
• Help maintain and organize the legal research database and resources.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance the user experience of our platform.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Law Degree (2L or 3L preferred).
