Senior-level position within Willis Towers Watson, managing the successful implementation of Individual Marketplace client solutions. The Director will work within the Individual Marketplace and will serve as the implementation manager for complex implementations of WTW’s retiree services. The key areas of this role include communicating effectively with executive level client contacts and managing projects across internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have experience within the medical insurance and benefits administration industry, with a strong focus on HRA administration. This role will require a business-oriented leader who recognizes changing market dynamics and can effectively partner with a variety of internal WTW associates including consultants, actuaries, and other client-facing associates to ensure client satisfaction. The Director must be a subject matter expert in Medicare, Qualified Health Plans, Health Reimbursement Arrangements and the processes related to our business. This is a remote position but must be within reasonable distance to a local WTW office in Texas, Utah, or Florida, and a major airport.

The Role
- Communicate effectively and understand client needs, goals, and strategies. Translate the client needs into solutions within the core capabilities of the marketplace team, understanding additional services that may need to be contracted to support the client.
- Consult on service, communication, and funding strategies to various levels of client management, including senior level human resources and executive representatives
- Project-manage new client implementations, including gathering requirements, creating, and managing a project plan, and coordinating in-house resources to deliver on that plan.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to clients in HRA administration, eligibility data, operations, and communications in order to successfully complete new client transitions.
- Create and update all project documentation & obtain client approvals when finalized.
- Coordinate with multiple internal teams such as the data, product, funding, operations, and communications teams to assure overall readiness prior to program launch and all client requirements are configured.
- Provide weekly status reports to client regarding project plan status.
- Manage a cross-functional team with a focus on accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
- Provide project-related insight and advice as a SME to internal and external stakeholders, recommending industry best practices and impact of client decisions.
- Assisting clients with the change management efforts to allow for a successful adoption of the Marketplace solution.
- Prepare, analyze, and present operational and financial data effectively to clients and consultants
- Support RFI/RFP, Finalist Meetings, and other sales initiatives. Informing prospective clients about all aspects of the transitions from communications to project timelines, and providing subject matter expertise
- Respond to customer needs and proactively identify potential customer concerns or future obstacles to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Coach and mentor team as project leader, resolve conflicts, maintain positive team morale, and deliver direct and timely feedback based upon project work and performance.
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of insurance industry experience related to servicing accounts
- 10+ years’ experience successful managing an employer/client book of business
- Must have experience within the healthcare benefits administration or medical insurance industry that has provided you knowledge of medical insurance and/or Medicare insurance products (Medicare industry knowledge is a plus)
- Must have experience with Retirement Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs)
- Must have a strong consultative approach to problem-solving and project management, and a desire to exceed client expectations at every turn
- Ability to build, maintain and manage multiple client relationships and projects at the most senior levels within client organizations and ensure quality deliverables.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders (internal and external) via formal and informal channels
- High level of business acumen
- Ability to coordinate teams across WTW segments

- Availability to travel on an as needed basis
- Executive presence with polished and well developed oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strong presentation skills

- Experience with call center operations is a plus
- Experience with JIRA, Salesforce, SmartSheet, Confluence a plus
- State life and health license a plus
- CEBS, GBA, PHR, CLUE or equivalent a plus

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
