The Opportunity

Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager position for the Automation, Integration, and System Protection (AISP) department. This role will often be involved in the entire scope of the project from initiation through close-out. The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills and possess the ability to successfully navigate through and resolve complex and oftentimes multi-functional challenges associated with medium to large projects. This position is a Hybrid role with the ideal candidate located in the greater Sacramento area.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide project management support for large and complex projects
  • Responsible for the overall management of the project scope, schedule and cost
  • Virtually attend and work with client to prepare for participation in upcoming hearings to include strategy, key talking points and presentations
  • Facilitate project meetings for client and support documentation control
  • Provide technical review, coordination and writing or editing of periodic reports, plans or presentations required by legislation
  • Be accountable to develop, update and manage the project plan and schedule
  • Assess project risk and proactively develop mitigation plans
  • Proactively manage project requests for information and action items
  • Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, and implement recommendations to support project scope, schedule and cost objectives
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Consistently produce results that meet goals, has high work standards, and understands the business environment and processes
  • Achieve results by problem solving, setting priorities and organization
  • Maintain customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strive for individual excellence by seeking challenges and self -development, demonstrating high levels of expertise and showing commitment, self-confidence and integrity

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Engineering background desirable
  • Experience with utility projects and/or CAISO interconnection process desirable
  • 5+ years of project management experience is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US
  • Travel up to 25% of the year may be required

Additional Opportunity Details:

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $109,900 - $148,700
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
