The DCX Junior Accountant will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by the company.
The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Job Responsibilities
Maintaining the customer record, assessing creditworthiness, handling all customer inquiries (internal and external), processing billing adjustments, credits, rebills and refunds, uploading invoices to client portals, managing tax exemptions, and taking incoming calls via the A/R Hotline;
Managing incoming emails in the A/R shared mailbox.
Partnering with A/R Coordinators in ensuring prompt resolution of open issues;
Researching and resolving client payment inquiries;
Researching, tracking, and resolving billing errors and discrepancies;
Reviewing of new customer records, including credit check, and establishing credit terms/credit limit;
Reviewing and approving / escalating orders on credit hold;
Reviewing and resolving unapproved credit card payments;
Managing billing process for benefits insurance carriers, to include creating and paying invoices, resolving any billing issues, finding ways for more automation, and working with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely payment;
Completing new vendor forms and requests for banking information from customers;
Working with associates across all divisions/departments to answer questions or research issues; and
Performing tasks analogous to the foregoing.
Additional Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience.
Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, and Outlook.
Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas etc.
Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus but not required.
