Senior Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects within the IT infrastructure industry, ensuring they meet specified objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management. This role involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are functionally and financially viable and completed on time within authorized cost parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned projects to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality constraints.
- Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, define project scope, and establish project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met, and costs are kept within authorized limits.
- Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
- Change Management: Manage project changes, including scope adjustments, schedule modifications, and cost variations, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous learning and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the project management function.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Relevant work experience in the IT infrastructure industry, with at least 6+ years in a project management role.
- Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA), and software.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are essential.
- Clearance: Must hold or be eligible to apply for Security Clearance (SC). Applicants must have spent a minimum of 5 years residency in the UK and have not spent longer than 6 months outside of the UK during this period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
- Continuous Learner: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and technology.
