Job Description:

Your responsibilities

  • Support the development of Engineering organizational maturity: audit the Operating Unit & OPC Engineering way of working / process implementation, identify and clarify need for change

  • Analyze operational non-conformities and quality cases recorded, as well as results from setup and quality assessments. Support the local Engineering Managers on the specification of improvement projects/initiatives up to the implementation and verification

  • Establish an Engineering KPI measuring system based on available data, calculate achieved KPIs monthly and create analysis incl. actions suggestions for the organization

  • Own the Engineering tool landscape. Analyze tool portfolio for performance improvement and drive tool harmonization where require

  • Analyze the Engineering competency status in detail, identify trends and criticalities (e.g. Power Quality applications, Cyber Security). Establish an Engineering specific training catalogue

  • Plan & follow-up people development assessments

  • Establish operational, case-based and general knowledge sharing by senior Engineers (Engineering competency network) and discipline knowledge transfer agreements, where small teams cannot sustain a high discipline competency level

Your background

  • You hold a university degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field

  • You bring +5 years of experience in a similar position or in line management in Engineering

  • You are experienced in functional/disciplinary management in multicultural and multinational organizations

  • Strong indirect leadership skills paired with exceptional communication skills to convince and influence stakeholders in the interest of your mission

  • You are analytical, well organized and structured in delivering results

  • You have basic knowledge in electrical power engineering

  • You are well versed and interested in training and development of internal stakeholders

  • You are fluent in English

  • Willingness to travel once per month in European countries

This position can be fulfilled completely remotely within Europe. We are prioritizing skills and experience over physical work location.
