Business Development Manager - Insurance

Eye has a mission: to digitally secure SMEs in Europe. This initiative comes from the dream of former intelligence and security service employees in the Netherlands to also protect smaller companies from the increasing threat of cybercrime. We've been doing this since 2020 and are now a team of over 100 passionate and talented professionals who all have something in common: a strong aversion to (digital) injustice. Your role at Eye 

• As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for building up our partnerships and Eye sales network with security focused partnerships, in order to sell with and through insurance brokers.
• You are responsible for the development and support of a network of existing and new sales partners.
• You provide the basis for successful collaboration and ongoing development of our business relationships with our partners.
• From contract drafting to deal closing - you are the professional support for our partners.
• You present our solutions at trade fairs and events.
• A close and cooperative partnership with your colleagues from Sales and Marketing as well as our business areas is a matter of course for you and the basis of our joint success.

Requirements

Who are we looking for 

• You are experienced in distribution, marketplace, insurance broker or reseller partnerships.
• You have analytical skills and a solid strategic planning ability.
• You have entrepreneurial hands-on mindset and are a team player, striving to find solutions.
• You are fluent in German and English language (verbally and in writing).
• You have presentation skills accompanied by great communication skills.
• You are used to work with ambitious targets.
• You have understanding of cybersecurity landscape and are able to integrate it into partner/ client / service models.
• You are willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Our office is located in Duisburg but we have a hybrid /remote way of working. We are also considering additional office locations right now.
