Summary of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate YouTube Media Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing YouTube advertising campaigns. As a YouTube Media Buyer, you will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and analyzing video ad campaigns on YouTube to achieve optimal results for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement YouTube ad strategies tailored to client objectives and market conditions.
    • Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to inform campaign planning.
    • Create and manage media plans, including budget allocation and ad placements.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Set up, manage, and optimize YouTube video ad campaigns across various formats (e.g., TrueView, bumper ads, and non-skippable ads).
    • Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to maximize reach and engagement.
    • Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting parameters to enhance campaign performance and ROI.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using YouTube Analytics, Google Ads, and other relevant tools.
    • Prepare detailed performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as view rates, click-through rates (CTR), and cost-per-view (CPV).
    • Identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Client Communication:
    • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding YouTube advertising campaigns.
    • Provide regular updates, strategic recommendations, and performance insights to clients and internal teams.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and ensure alignment with campaign strategies.
  • Creative Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the creative team to ensure ad content is optimized for performance and resonates with target audiences.
    • Provide feedback and recommendations on video creatives to enhance their effectiveness in driving engagement and conversions.
  • Budget Management:
    • Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and spending.
    • Analyze cost-per-click (CPC), cost-per-view (CPV), and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize budget use and campaign efficiency.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices:
    • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in YouTube advertising.
    • Implement new strategies and features to keep campaigns innovative and effective.

Requirements

    • Must Haves:
      • Proven experience in media buying or digital marketing with a strong focus on YouTube advertising.
      • Proficiency in YouTube Analytics and Google Ads.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
      • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to campaign management.
    • Preferred Skills:
      • YouTube Ads Certification and/or Google Ads Certification (YouTube) preferred.
      • Experience with video production and editing tools.
      • Knowledge of other digital advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Display) is a plus.
      • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies.
