The Corporate Affairs Senior Manager will play a critical role in building and enhancing the brand internally, externally and with critical external stakeholders to support the introduction of Amgen to India and build our corporate presence and reputation.
As a part of our team, you will be responsible for creating and curating content showcasing Amgen India’s journey and innovations to help drive thought leadership and brand love, as well as entice new and existing audiences to engage with content across our channels, and build engagement across the company.
Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to truly understand business challenges and priorities and develop actionable programs that integrate soundly with business objectives.
Developingand executing the internal communications strategy specific to the business needs of the site in context of the company’s overarching business priorities.
Developing and executing the site’s external communications strategy, with particular emphasis on raising Amgen’s profile as an employer of choice.
Developing and reviewing content and branding material including, but not limited to, site leader messages, fact sheets, press releases, speeches, FAQs, backgrounders, website, intranet, site branding, campaigns and social media content.
Managing all social media platforms and internal communication channels, and events like townhall meetings, R&R and all other communication related areas of support.
Providing issues management support to colleagues as required to ensure that AIN’s work is reflected accurately and fairly across all platforms.
Connect content across internal and external platforms to further engage AIN employees on key issues and opportunities.
Drive functional excellence by maintaining SOPs for each area of Corporate Affairs work, streamlining branding and content assets into accessible shared folders, and develop monthly and quarterly reporting that tracks business content performance, uncover insights to improve, and track success metrics.
What we expect of you
Master’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, international relations, or a related field and 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience, OR
Bachelor’s degree in mass media, communications, journalism and 10 to 14 years of relevant work experience, OR
Diploma in mass media, communications, and 14 to 18 years of relevant work experience .
Biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthcare communications experience would be preferred though not mandatory.
Media relations experience and understanding of social media trends.
Experience creating and executing strategic internal and external communications programs for an organization or GCC or R&D center.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff and demonstratedproficiency working directly with senior leadership.
Ability to productively navigate a challenging and dynamic environment, and deal with rapidly changing priorities.
