Responsibilities for the Marketing Communications Specialist:
Social Media:
- Develop social media content calendar across X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Effectively monitor and respond to user interactions on social media, fostering a positive community and addressing customer queries and concerns promptly, aiming to increase community engagement
- Plan and oversee the execution of organic social media campaigns, work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels, contributing to an overall increase in brand recognition
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Implement new strategies to keep the brand ahead of the curve, targeting at least one viral campaign per quarter
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our social media reach, aiming for an increase in influencer-driven traffic
Content Management:
- Assist Marketing Content Manager in writing engaging content for the website, blog, and email newsletters to support organizational goals and enhance our reputation
- Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and customer success to produce and post high-quality content
- Review new business and customer success calls for feedback, then generate ideas based on this feedback to increase customer engagement in future content campaigns.
- Assist Director of Sales Enablement on sales collateral based on needs of the business
- Report and analyze the performance of website, social media, and additional content initiatives to the VP of Marketing
- Assist with public relations and thought leadership initiatives as needed
Skills:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, personas and demographics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas
- Hands-on experience with paid social media advertising and influencer marketing
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts through organic and paid strategies
- Can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively with peers and cross-functionally
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and expertise in project managements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, across different projects and various priorities
