About the role:

We are looking for an experienced, analytical, commercially savvy Marketing Manager to support Elvie’s continued growth in ROW region. This role will be focusing on Germany and Austria,
Reporting to and working closely with the Commercial Marketing Lead, you will build efficient marketing plans to maximise sales through brand marketing campaigns, and retail channels which are true to the Elvie brand and its values whilst focusing on selling products to meet challenging commercial targets.
You'll have experience delivering both disruptive brand building and product focused campaigns across the full channel mix. You'll work closely with direct retail accounts and distribution partners to plan and execute successful marketing strategies to support Elvie market expansion and sales growth. These initiatives include all online marketing activity, partnerships, point-of-sale and in store retail marketing across all channels.
A strategic planner, you are great at leading campaigns from idea to execution and working cross-functionally to ensure consistency across all consumer touch points.
You are a natural communicator, who thrives building strategic relationships with partners and agencies.
It's important that you have a great work ethic, a down to earth manner and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Elvie is a fast paced scale up with big ambitions and we constantly strive to be passionate, smart, creative and disruptive. You will need to be confident working at a fast pace, across a wide array of projects, love a challenge and be comfortable utilising the support of the team.
This role involves working closely on a day-to-day basis with the wider International Commercial team, reporting into the Commercial Marketing Lead, and supporting the Key Account Manager in the region to drive commercial opportunities, marketing campaigns, NPD launches and expansions.
Location: Hybrid working; a mix of working from our London or Bristol office & working remotely
Employment type: 12 month FTC (please note, you must have the right to work in the UK)
Requirements
What you’ll be doing at Elvie:
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing integrated marketing plans for focus countries Germany and Austria, supporting in line with commercial strategy across both retail, PR and partnerships.
- You will be responsible for driving increased market share, brand awareness and engagement in key regions through locally relevant brand and product focussed campaigns.
- Evaluating all activity and effectively communicating campaign results against set KPIs, including impact on sales growth, ensuring learnings are shared with key stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with a variety of teams including brand, sales, operations, customer service, legal and finance as well as our retail and distribution partners.
- Monitoring and tracking spend against agreed budgets, strategically allocating budget to support global trade marketing campaigns as well as bespoke marketing activations with key retail accounts, ensuring improved visibility during key commercial moments.
- Ensuring brand and legal compliance for all assets.
- Support international point of sale lead to execute strong in store delivery of POS.
- Championing your markets within Elvie, feeding insight and cultural nuances back into the business.
- Leading successful launches of new Elvie products into the retail market across our international markets, working collaboratively with the global team to achieve successful market penetration and launch plans.
- Leading on planning and executing trade events and shows to support business growth in the key regions.
- Ensuring all distribution and retail partners are supported throughout the year with always-on marketing assets, as well as campaign specific assets, working with the Creative team and Brand team to update assets when necessary.
- Initiating collaborations through partnerships, sponsorships and third parties to develop marketing and promotional activities that increase awareness and sales within the retail channel.
- German and English language.
What we are looking for:
- Ideally around 3-5 years of relevant B2C marketing experience
- Demonstrable marketing campaign management experience
- Experience working with similar retailers e.g. department stores, e-commerce, electrical stores, pharmacies - across multiple international markets desirable.
- Strong cross-functional project management skills
- Confidence in managing a complex stakeholder networks and experience working in a global/local market structure
- Commercially driven, with an understanding of the P&L and budget management experience
- Experience working with internal creative teams
- Experience managing agency relationships
- Willing to jump in and get things done, problem solving as you go
- Experience with premium brands and connected products preferable
- An understanding of direct to consumer retail also desirable
