About the position

This position is for a senior professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Program Management, who leads medium-sized programs. Develops program plans, schedules, and budgets. Supports strategic planning efforts, solutions for program problems, contract negotiations, and manages important suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads medium size programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility and recommends appropriate adjustments.
  • Manages important suppliers and develops milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs.
  • Consolidates and presents plans and progress reports.
  • Prepares and presents value-stream strategy, progress, and results.
  • Supports annual strategic planning efforts for the business.
  • Guides continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Identifies and reacts to program problems and supports solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing contractual specifications.
  • Supports the development of new business growth strategies.
  • Coordinates responses to customer action items.
  • Supervises the appropriate use of all resources allocated to the program to ensure efficient use of resources.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree with 7+ years program/project management, manufacturing, operations, and/or supply chain experience.

    Or, Graduate Degree with 5+ years of program/project management, manufacturing, operations, and/or supply chain experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise. 
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and work across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.  
  • High degree of independence 
  • Problem solving attitude with focus on teamwork 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Office, PowerPoint) 
  • Engage with program team daily and provide solutions to potential risks 
  • Relentless drive to overachieve, outstanding team player, strategic vision with ability to execute 
  • Ability to work on complex problems in an ambiguous environment 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Power BI, JDE (SAP support) systems.

Additional information

  • We are open for remote work within the USA.
  • Travelling is required between 25%-50% nationally and internationally.
