Position Summary

Rewiring America is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic Content Marketing Manager to join our Growth team. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at engaging and growing our audience through content distribution, referral partners, SEO, and other nonpaid channels. You will work cross-functionally with Product and our Content Studio to develop, deploy, and measure strategies to turn educational content, lifestyle content, and consumer tools into high-intent leads that are poised to upgrade their homes and lifestyles with fossil-fuel-free electric machines..This role requires a blend of creative thinking, editorial judgment, analytical skills, partnership acumen, and a deep understanding of audience behavior. This position reports to the Head of Marketing.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Create and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with our mission and goals across all of our channels: email, social (LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Nextdoor, TikTok, YouTube), website, SMS, events, and more.
  • Collaborate with our Content Studio and agencies to develop compelling and relevant content tailored to different audience segments, and ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of our content marketing efforts..
  • Plan, execute, and optimize social and referral marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Own our organic search traffic strategy, leading to improved search engine visibility and strong lead generation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and influencers to amplify campaign reach and impact.
  • Analyze audience data and campaign performance metrics to inform strategy and optimize future campaigns.
  • Tailor content to both a national audience and to specific local audiences in the communities where Rewiring America is implementing electrification programs more holistically.
  • Identify and define key audience segments, and develop personalized marketing approaches for each segment.
  • Optimize landing pages and other sign-up elements on our sites and social channels for conversion.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance, audience insights, and strategic recommendations.

Core Technical Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital / inbound / growth marketing, audience development, or a related discipline.
  • Track record of success in scaling audiences in a double-digit growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative organic and referral marketing strategies.
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Amplitude, Google Search Console, AHREFs, and more.

Additional Preferred Characteristics:

  • Familiarity with the clean energy or sustainability sector.
  • Experience with advanced data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience marketing to low-to-moderate-income (LMI) communities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000 USD, commensurate with experience.

Comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (and their families). Employees are able to enroll in 401k retirement plan and are eligible for a 3% automatic contribution and up to a 3% employer match on 401k contributions. Employees are also eligible for pre-tax transportation benefits. Employees will receive 160 hours of vacation time, 80 hours of health leave, up to 2 days of casual leave, and 20 hours of volunteer leave annually. Employees will also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year (13 days during Presidential and Congressional elections). We have an office closure between Christmas and New Year. Employees are eligible for 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave after 90 days of employment. Regular, full-time employees and part-time employees are eligible to take up to sixteen weeks of parental leave, in all cases related to birth, adoption, or foster care starting from the first day of employment.
