Position Summary
The Medical Director oversees Nurse Practitioners at Restore Hyper Wellness, providing services from 1-2 hours a week. Compensation is $600 per supported studio in which you are responsible for, acting as a supervising physician, delivered once per month via 1099.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners in their established direct client relationships.
  • Review and sign off on medical charts daily as required by state law.
  • Visit Restore studio at least once per month if required by state law.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Restore's mission and is passionate about alternative health modalities.
  • Collaborate on the integration of medical services into Restore's overall comprehensive medical services as requested by the Chief Medical Director and/or designee.
  • Assist in promoting a medical staff environment in which providers deliver independent judgment and responsibility in the practice of medicine.

Requirements

  • M.D Degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certified in a primary speciality.
  • Current medical license in Alabama.
  • Ability to review and sign standing orders and charts at least once per day Monday-Friday.
  • Ability to provide sign-off and send prescriptions, when required, at least once per day Monday-Friday.
  • Ability to provide availability via text/call for any patient specific questions from Nurse Practitioners (on rare occasions) during Restore operating hours.
  • Attendance of monthly provider meeting to serve as supervision and collaboration time with Nurse Practitioners on the third Tuesday of every month from 6:00-6:30PM CST via Zoom.
