Senior Project Manager - Peak Mining (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a smart, self-driven and hands-on Senior Project Manager who will lead a diverse range of ad hoc initiatives for the Peak Bitcoin Mining Datacenter Business. An ideal candidate won’t shy away from complexityand loves a fast-paced environment.

Every day can be different, and you will find yourself driving to completion initiatives such as documenting data center operational processes and procedures, coordinating new hardware deployments, capital project due diligence and analysis, improving reporting and KPI tracking,managing asset disposals and sales, leading the implementation of a new maintenance ticketing system, helping coordinate new construction efforts, coordinating or leading operational process improvements, and optimizing document storage and workflow tools.

The role is an individual contributor position reporting to thePeak VP of Operations and is fully remote. In addition to owning and executing hands on initiatives, you will take part in or lead cross-functional projectswhile having a lot of freedom to make your own mark and apply your professionalism to accelerate business effectiveness.The Sr Project Manager is less of a formal waterfall or agile project management PMP type role and more about driving the execution of key initiatives across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading a broad range of cross-functional projects, initiatives, or tasks across the business

• Formulate and update project plans, schedules and budgets

• Review and monitor progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time and quality specifications

• Manage risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved and project risks are minimized

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation

• Manage internal (senior) stakeholders and coordinate resources for flawless execution

• Manage, establish and maintain external relationships with suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders

• Evaluate internal processes, procedures & documentation and structure and implement new internal standardized processes for new projects

• Own the Peak project portfolio and ensure mission critical priorities are executed first

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years managing initiatives or projects, consulting, or product management experience

• Proven ability to work hands-on, providing structure in a fast-paced problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence

• Documentation of business processes, flow charting, requirements gathering, user story and wire frame creation, gap analysis, and financial analysis

• Business case development

• Traditional datacenter, bitcoin mining, or commercial construction industry experience a big plus

YOUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degreein business or engineering

• Tech savvy with experience with project management software such as Jira, MS Project or related applications and documentation systems such as Confluence

• Ability to prioritize with strong problem-solving skills

• Can work independently and execute with little management oversight

• Strong communication skills

• A personality type that is calm, steady, deliberate, highly accurate, attention to detail, challenges assumptions, highly dependable, cooperative, and trustworthy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally

• Ability to manage complex initiatives under tight deadlines

• Travel: up to 30%
