We are looking for a Windows Infrastructure Engineer In based in one of our Hubs in Boadilla del Monte, Cantabria, Málaga y Portugal, with at least 3 years of experience.

We are looking for a Windows Infrastructure Engineerbased in one of our Hubs in Boadilla del Monte, Cantabria, Málaga y Portugal, a key team in our technology ecosystem.

As a technical resource you will play a key role in the Microsoft Products team within Infrastructure CoE reporting to the Microsoft Products Team Leader in Systems and Data Centres. The team supports critical infrastructure components that underspin key Banking applications across Payments, Mortgages, Sales and Servicing and Fraud as well as Mobile & Online banking.

The team are responsible for the installation, support and maintenance of various third party products for Retail, Corporate & Consumer Finance. The team provides 24x7x365 support for all of their infrastructure. ‍

Your main tasks will be:

• Contribute to the managing of risk across the infrastructure by addressing obsolescence, vulnerabilities and patching
• Delivering projects and changes to agreed deadlines
• Ensuring that all supporting infrastructure is available for systems & applications to meet SLAs
• Analysing changes and impact to availability
• Developing and managing relationships with IT and business stakeholders to ensure projects and priorities are understood and progressed appropriately

If you think you’ve got what it takes, these are the key skills we’ll be looking for in your CV:

Working knowledge and experience of Windows Server

• Experience of application support, security hardening and performance tuning
• Ability to troubleshoot low-level issues
• Excellent communication skills including an ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Previous experience working in a regulated environment

The following would also be great...

• Knowledge of any of IIS, BizTalk, .Net Framework, PowerShell, IBM MQ, Host Integration Service (HIS) and SQL Server
• Proven ability to understand complex changes and determine potential impact points
• Understanding of the Santander change and incident process and requirements
• Experience of ServiceNow
