As a Supplier Quality Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our supply chain. With over 7,000 suppliers globally, you’ll be at the forefront of evaluating and managing supplier quality, working closely with procurement and R&D teams.
In this role, you’ll build and implement tools and processes to work effectively with suppliers, manage improvement projects, and ensure compliance with specifications within market launches and mass production. Your efforts will support production during the launch phase and drive process improvements.
It’s a remote position but you should be based in Germany.

Your tasks
- Support the Supplier Quality Management Team in supplier quality improvement and harmonization activities, utilizing quality tools, and coordinating resolution of supplier quality issues and escalations
- Monitor performance indicators of our suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements and international regulations
- Evaluate the performance and capability of our suppliers and services as well as the development and implementation of measures to ensure a high level of supply chain stability
- Act as a point of contact for supplier quality concerns, collaborating with Sonova locations and suppliers globally
- Ensure the implementation of SQM requirements, including containment actions, root cause investigations, preventative measures, and ‘lessons learned’ programs
- Review technical specifications and supplier feedback on concerns
- Support supplier audits and new supplier activities
Your profile
- 6+ years of experience in a supplier quality management within a manufacturing environment (experience with medical devices is a big plus)
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards
- Knowledge of production technologies for electronic and mechanical components
- Proven ability to drive continuous process improvements, strong prioritization skills, familiarity with navigating changing environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel (ca. 30% of time)
- Proficiency in SAP-QM or similar system, MS Office skills
- Graduate degree in engineering, science, quality, or another technical field is a plus
- Fluency in English and German
