NFP is looking to hire a Director of Operational Excellence.

The Director of Operational Excellence plays a strategic role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of NFP Retirement’s operations. This position is tasked with leading continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices across various departments to ensure the organization operates at its highest potential. By fostering a culture of innovation and operational agility, the Director of Operational Excellence aims to drive sustainable growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve overall organizational performance. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, this role not only identifies areas for improvement but also develops and executes strategies that align with the company’s long-term objectives, ensuring that operational excellence is woven into the fabric of the organization’s daily activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with assigned stakeholders (wealth & retirement sr. leadership, NRT operations, and regional leaders) to build trust and maintain pipeline of projects to improve team member and client experience.
  • Analyze issue case data to identify trends and recommend projects
  • Address updates, discuss impact to overall division strategy to determine priority and execute based on capacity
  • Enable complex conversations between business and operations teams to support effective implementations and process changes
  • Develop quality review and custom reporting to report KPIs to stakeholders, demonstrate value delivery, and facilitate change management conversations
  • Facilitate mapping and documentation of key operations processes to improve process adherence

· Manage employees

  • Manage projects to define, map and document all iterations of the process

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on operational excellence and process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

· Lean Six Sigma certification

The base salary range for this position is $72,000 – $98,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
