Summary of the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Shopify Merchandiser to manage and optimize our online store on the Shopify platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce merchandising, a deep understanding of Shopify’s functionalities, and a proven track record of increasing online sales through effective merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities:

Shopify Store Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the Shopify store, including product listings, inventory management, and site functionality.
• Ensure all product information, images, and pricing are accurate and up-to-date.
• Optimize product categorization, tagging, and navigation to enhance the shopping experience and improve searchability.

Merchandising Strategy:

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase conversion rates.
• Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Create and manage promotional campaigns, including product launches, sales events, and seasonal promotions.

Content and Visual Merchandising:

• Design and implement engaging product displays and landing pages that align with brand aesthetics and marketing goals.
• Work with the design team to create compelling visual content, including banners, sliders, and promotional graphics.
• Ensure that all content is optimized for SEO and enhances the user experience.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Monitor key performance metrics, including sales, traffic, and conversion rates, to assess the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.
• Generate regular reports on store performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated on Shopify updates and industry trends to leverage new features and best practices.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align merchandising efforts with overall brand strategy and campaign objectives.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to manage stock levels and ensure timely product availability.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ Relevant years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, preferably with hands-on experience managing a Shopify store.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Shopify and its various features, including themes, apps, and analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with SEO best practices and online marketing strategies.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Analytics.

• Creative problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
