Spanish Content Tester - Math (Freelance)

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Spanish Content Tester to work with our math curriculum team. In this role, you will review Spanish translations of elementary, middle, and high school math content and collaborate with a translation project manager to ensure the translations are error free.

This is a remote 1099 consulting role for 6 months with possible extension.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Test translations of math problems and explanations within IXL's software environment
• Identify technical and audio errors introduced by translations
• Catch linguistic mistakes or inconsistencies within question sets
• Communicate necessary changes succinctly and unambiguously
• Collaborate with translation project manager to meet project deadlines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Professional fluency in written and spoken Spanish
• Experience in software localization and/or translation quality assurance
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Background in math or math education is a plus
