At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a SAS Solutions Engineer to join our UniQue team!
What will you be doing in this role:
- Gather and implement user requirements for SAS/GSAST/Viya applications.
- Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Perform development and programming tasks in SAS, including integration with external components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs, providing second-level support for users.
- Lead testing, quality assurance, and deployment activities for new features.
- Participate in the modernization of existing systems and migration to new platforms (e.g., SAS Viya).
- Ensure the interoperability of SAS applications with other systems and components.
- Write and update technical and user documentation.
- Conduct on-site interventions and provide ongoing system maintenance.
- Collaborate with users for process improvements, training, and requirement clarification.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- A Bachelor degree and at least 4 years experience in IT in general
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in Statistics and SAS programming
- Familiarity with SAS Viya platform
- Familiarity with standard coding, release management and deployment tools (eg. GIT, BitBucket, Bamboo, or similar)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) or similar
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
- Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
- Knowledge of programming in PYTHON will be an advantage
- Minimum of B2 level in English in all parameters of CEFR
