Social Media Coordinator

Job Duck is a virtual staffing company that matches candidates to work from home for a single U.S.-based business, in most cases a law firm.

As a Social Media Coordinator at Job Duck, you will play a key role in enhancing our online presence and engagement across our social media platforms. You'll be responsible for researching and proposing new platforms as well as developing and executing creative social media campaigns to promote our services, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness. Your innovative ideas and proactive approach will contribute to building a strong online community and fostering positive relationships with our clients and followers.

Monthly compensation: 1,100 USD

Pay is determined by experience and education.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media campaigns to increase our brand's visibility and engagement on platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Threads, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.

  • Manage and maintain our social media accounts, ensuring consistency in branding, tone, and messaging.

  • Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities to engage with our audience and industry influencers.

  • Foster relationships with followers, clients, and industry professionals through timely responses to comments, messages, and inquiries.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives and goals.

  • Work with Business Intelligence Analyst to track and analyze key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in social media marketing and apply them to Job Duck strategies.

  • Works on developing free downloadable resources for our website.

  • Reports to the team leader but works closely to our CMO and her presentations for her speaking gigs.

  • Create and curate engaging copywriting for our content, including posts, videos, graphics, digital ads, website, speaking engagements, and other multimedia assets, tailored to each platform's audience and specifications.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy in content scheduling and posting.

  • Collaborative spirit and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

  • Copywriting skills.

  • Understanding of the recruitment industry and lifestyle brand.

  • Commitment to upholding our values and brand identity in all social media interactions.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (at least 2 years) working as a social media coordinator or similar role, preferably in a virtual or remote setting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for content optimization and engagement.

  • Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, or Sprout Social.

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques for enhancing social media visibility is a plus.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your past social media campaigns, content creation, and community management skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player.

  • Demonstrated passion for social media marketing and staying updated with industry trends and developments.

  • Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams,and ClickUp.
