Job Overview

Davies Risk Services is looking for an experienced Administrative Support Specialist who will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of audit and loss control functions. This role involves handling documentation, phone communication, mail processing, and data entry, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

The Administration Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient audit and loss control processes. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and ready to contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Audit Documentation Management:
    • Attach faxes to open audits in the AuSuM system.
    • Notify auditors when paperwork has been attached.
  • Phone and Communication Management:
    • Answer and transfer phone calls for the Loss Control main phone line.
    • Forward voicemail messages to the appropriate individuals.
  • Data Entry and Documentation:
    • Perform data entry for audits and inspections.
    • Maintain accuracy in recording and updating information.
  • Cross-Training and Additional Tasks:
    • Cross-train on audit and loss control tasks as required.
    • Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or as needed to support department operations.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Proficiency with office software and data entry systems.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience and Education:
    • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in administration is a plus.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
    • Willingness to perform in-office tasks as required or until remote solutions are fully implemented.

Position Type, Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a home-based, full time, hourly, non-exempt position that predominantly operates remotely from a professional home-based office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and scanners and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to regularly hear and talk. This is a largely sedentary role requiring the ability to sit at a desk, reach outward, use a phone, have use of fingers to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, phone, printer, copier, and to reach above the head, bend, or stand as necessary.
