Backend Engineer (Data-Heavy)

We're seeking a seasoned Backend Data-Heavy Engineer with a strong .NET stack foundation

and a deep passion for data. You'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing

backend systems that efficiently handle massive volumes of data. Your expertise in SQL Server,

database design, and query optimization will be crucial for structuring and managing our

extensive database. Understanding business objectives and translating them into data-driven

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and

high-performance backend systems using primarily .NET technologies.

• Data Management: Work with massive datasets, implementing efficient data storage,

retrieval, and processing mechanisms.

• Database Design and Optimization: Structure and optimize our extensive SQL Server

database for optimal performance and scalability. Design efficient data models, indexes,

and query execution plans to handle large data structures effectively.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize backend systems and

database queries for speed, efficiency, and scalability, ensuring seamless data handling

under heavy loads.

• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and product

teams to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.

• Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to data

management, backend systems, and performance bottlenecks at both the application

and database levels.

• Technology Exploration: Stay updated with the latest data-related technologies and

evaluate their potential for improving our systems.

• Business Alignment: Actively engage with business stakeholders to understand

objectives and translate them into technical solutions that leverage data insights.
