About the Role
A content creator is seeking an expert in film production and editing to assist with the launch of a new podcast project exploring themes of regret and life changes. The selected candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video and audio recordings, as well as editing the content into a polished final product for release on YouTube. This is a single project with the potential for ongoing collaboration as the podcast series develops.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and expertise in setting up the appropriate filming and recording equipment for a professional podcast production
- Operate cameras, lighting, and audio gear to capture engaging interviews with guests discussing their experiences and regrets
- Edit the raw footage and audio recordings into a cohesive, visually appealing podcast episode
- Incorporate visual elements, such as lower-thirds, transitions, and graphics, to enhance the overall production value
Requirements
- Significant experience (5+ years) in film production, video editing, and podcast creation
- Expertise in operating professional-grade cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording gear
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, to produce high-quality, polished content
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and the ability to enhance the overall production value
