Develop and implement appropriate security standards and technology baselines.
Reduce cyber risks with a range of tasks from identification through full implementation of the technology or process with a handoff to others for routine operation.
Monitor and manage security infrastructure capacity, size, and scale.
Audits, documents, and illustrates the security practices and procedures of the RapidScale Operations
Serves as a secondary resource for overflow work in vulnerability triage and remediation.
Accepts escalation for complex security incidents.
Leads security gap analysis, investigation, and analysis as needed.
Leads and/or manages security efforts addressing cybersecurity priorities.
As you’ve seen, this job requires someone who is at the top of their cybersecurity game. Because it’s such a critical role, here are the requirements that will ensure you’re on track for this opportunity.
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and two years experience in a related field.
The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to two years experience or six years experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge of and prior hands-on experience in a wide variety of security tools/ technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and SIEM
Experience in Fortinet, Palo Alto, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, IT service desk, Sec+, CISSP, CEH
Knowledge of CSA CCM, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, etc.
Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation and the ability to identify issues in advance and propose solutions.
Strong domain expertise and technology implementation/ integration experience in one or more areas, such as Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Data Protection, Network Security, Application Security, and Identity and Access Management.
Willingness to work on a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
