Job Summary:

We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our executive team at Real. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s technology strategy, ensuring the alignment of IT initiatives with business goals, and overseeing all aspects of our information technology operations. This role requires a visionary leader with strong technical acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership abilities to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the company's business objectives and growth plans.

  • Lead the IT department in the design, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions.

  • Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

  • Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions that enhance business processes and drive efficiencies.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Recruit and retain top IT talent, ensuring the team possesses the skills and capabilities to meet evolving business needs.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and other stakeholders, providing updates on IT initiatives, risks, and opportunities.

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and investments in technology initiatives.

  • Monitor IT expenditures and implement strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency gains.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as a CIO or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, with expertise in cybersecurity and data protection.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing IT teams.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in IT governance frameworks and best practices.

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented approach.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving technology innovation and operational excellence.
