EdgeTier is seeking an ambitious UX Designer who excels at creating engaging user experiences and scalable solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex customer service analytics data into compelling and intuitive designs that incorporate innovative AI solutions.
You will lead design initiatives, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to enhance the user experience and accelerate the evolution of our AI-driven platform.

In the UX Designer role, your day-to-day tasks will involve a mix of design work, collaboration, and user-focused research. Here's what you'll be doing to make an impact:
Creating Design Assets: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to represent new features and products. Your designs will be clear and consistent to accelerate product development.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and iterate on designs. Your role is key to bringing innovative product ideas to life.
Conducting User Research and Testing: Plan and execute user research to gather insights on user behaviour and preferences. Based on feedback, you'll iterate on designs to continuously improve the user experience.
Presenting Design Concepts: Communicate your design ideas effectively to stakeholders and team members. You'll be responsible for presenting new feature designs to the team and working with Product to align everyone on the vision.
Implementing Design Systems: Ensure consistency across the platform by implementing design systems and style guides. This involves maintaining a cohesive visual identity and ensuring all components are scalable and reusable.
Participating in Agile Development Processes: Be an active participant in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and refinements. You'll provide input for the Frontend Developers, identify design-related risks, and work collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues.
Contributing to Product Strategy: Your insights will help shape the product's direction. You'll collaborate with product managers to align design goals with business objectives and contribute to the overall product strategy.
Proficiency in product design tools. We use Figma.
2+ years of experience designing products in a software business.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
Experience designing data visualisation/analytics tools.
A portfolio of product designs that you’ve helped to launch.
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Experience with user research and usability testing.
Experience with Agile development processes.
Knowledge of B2B platforms and customer service analytics.
