The Penn State World Campus Marketing Strategy and Business Development team is seeking an experienced candidate to join the team as Administrative Support - Part-Time. The part-time Administrative Support position will report directly to the Executive Director for Online Education Strategy and Business Development and will provide direct administrative and professional support for primarily the Senior Director for Business Development and his team but may also provide occasional support for the broader team, as needed. This position will also serve as a back-up, when needed, for the other administrative support positions within the Marketing and Communications unit. Part-time hours will be 20 hours per week and an appropriate schedule can be discussed with interview candidates.
Candidates that apply should be proactive, energetic, and highly organized. Qualified candidates should embrace technology and university systems (Microsoft Outlook, Concur, SIMBA, Workday, etc.), embrace flexibility and change, able to manage multiple requests in a timely manner, able to communicate effectively and efficiently with a remote team located across time zones, as well as with multiple stakeholders across the university, and able to work as a team with other administrative support assistants to provide backup for each other when needed.
This position may require occasional in-person support such as checking/distributing mail at the office building and/or preparing for in-person staff events. This position can be performed fully remotely or as a hybrid of remote and on-site working.
